For small business owners and entrepreneurs looking to build foundational business skills. As part of this course, you will receive additional 1:1 coaching and support from the California Office of Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA). Additionally, this course is offered in both English and Spanish. Further enhance your learning with our optional Business English courses.
Thanks to a co-partnership with the City of Coachella, Coachella residents can access these courses for free.
The Business Readiness course will be held every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, starting March 15 and ending April 26. An orientation session will be held on Saturday, March 8.
These courses are only offered in-person at the Coachella Branch Library.
Students should expect to dedicate around four hours per week to complete coursework in this program.
Our business management courses are open to all Coachella residents over the age of 18. A high school diploma or college degree is not required.
Our Business Readiness course is offered in both English and Spanish.
UCR University Extension is the continuing education and professional development division of UC Riverside.
