*Business English 1 and 2 are each 6 weeks long
For Spanish-speaking individuals looking to increase their proficiency in the English language and develop the skills necessary to be effective communicators in a wide range of business scenarios. Business English 1 and 2 are elective courses that can be taken along with the Business Readiness and Micro MBA courses.
Thanks to a co-partnership with the City of Coachella, Coachella residents can access these courses for free.
Business English 1 courses will be held every Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, starting March 14 and ending April 25. An orientation session will be held on Friday, March 7.
Business English 2 courses will be held every Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, starting May 9 and ending June 20. An orientation session will be held on Friday, May 2.
These courses are only offered in-person at the Coachella Branch Library.
Students should expect to dedicate around four hours per week to complete coursework in this program.
Our business management courses are open to all Coachella residents over the age of 18. A high school diploma or college degree is not required.
Business English courses are offered in both English and Spanish.
UCR University Extension is the continuing education and professional development division of UC Riverside. Our programs and courses span business, design, education, healthcare, law, sustainability, and technology. All our for-credit courses and instructors are University of California gold standard and approved by the UCR Academic Senate.
